The Opportunity

Meganexus has led rehabilitation ICT for Justice, Healthcare and Employability for over a decade. Our platform provides educational and through-the-gate services to every prison in England & Wales, as well as third-sector charities and large and small private sector organisations.

We place the service user at the heart of the digital solutions. We understand that for many individuals on a journey to social inclusion, there are often many pathways undertaken at the same time – we create the positive social outcomes for some of the most vulnerable people in society, and the digital solutions needed for those tasked with their care. The work has a genuine, tangible impact on so many people’s lives.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Data & Machine Learning Team, to help with the planning, organisation and of our growing suite of Data & AI initiatives. This position will be a hybrid-type role, combining skills across a number of areas – so if you have experience with one or more of managing Projects/Programmes, Products, or Delivery in general, then we want to hear from you.

The Data & Machine Learning Team at Meganexus works with the latest AI & Machine Learning technologies and methodologies, liaising with various stakeholders (both external, and internal from around the business) to produce new proofs of concept and features for our systems, using those technologies.

To succeed in this role, you must be highly organised with strong communication skills, and an ability to grasp complex concepts quickly. Whilst this is position is not necessarily a technical role, an interest in the world of Data, Machine Learning, & AI will be essential. You will need to be able to stay up to date with the latest developments in the industry, and be able to put forward ideas for potential use cases for new technologies, in line with our areas of focus, and our typical user bases.

The team is also responsible for all data related activities and enquiries across our range of products and systems (for example; performing analyses and building reports & dashboards for internal and external clients).  You will need to be able to engage with stakeholders to understand data & reporting requirements, and the ideal candidate will also be able to build visual reports and dashboards (we use Power BI) in line with those requirements from the data made available from our systems.

You will be joining a highly skilled and passionate team, working on exciting projects.  You will report to the Head of Data & Machine Learning, but will form good relationships with most other teams within the business through your day to day work.

This is a dynamic and challenging position working in a busy environment, where you will be well looked after and encouraged to learn, grow, and progress.
